Peter Kogler (*1959, Austria) started at the beginning of the 1980s to use media and computer technology as the basis for his installative works, confronting and blending the perfectionism of the new technologies with physical and organic motifs.
His often installative works have been presented in solo exhibitions in international institutions like mumok Vienna, ING Art Center Brussels, MUDAM Luxembourg, Kunstverein Hannover and Villa Arson.
Heimo Zobernig (*1958, Austria) is exploring since the 1980s through videos, installations, sculptures and paintings, modernist ideas like Minimalism, the grid, and color theory.
He was representing Austria at the Venice Biennale in the year 2015 and his works were on view at Documenta in the years 1992 and 1997. Furthermore he had solo exhibitions in international museums like Wilhelm Hack Museum, Museum Ludwig Cologne, Kunsthaus Bregenz and Kunsthalle Zurich.
