Works by her were included in the Documenta (2011), as well as in the Venice Biennale (1990, 1993, 1999, 2003, 2009, 2019). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe photography „Helen \u0026amp; Gordon“ is a tribute to a famous photograph of Helen\u003cbr\u003eFrankenthaler by Gordon Parks, which was commissioned by Life magazine\u003cbr\u003ein the 1950ies. With this work Gonzalez-Foerster gave the most important female Abstract Expressionist Helen Frankenthaler and the photographer Gordon Parks, who became famous as a movie director for his Blaxsploitation Movies, a stage. \u003cbr\u003eA large-scale picture of „Helen \u0026amp;  Gordon“ was on display as the safety curtain at the Vienna State Opera from September 2015 till June 2016.
