Nadim Vardag (*1980, Germany) is an artist working across many disciplines including drawing, etching, photography, installation and moving image.

His edition comes in the form of a towel, an item the artist used several times as a found object in installations in the past. Here he created his own version in combining it with a recurring theme in his practice – the motive of textile, interweaving threads. The image and its materialization coincide here without setting a boundary if one can use the work of art as an object of use or if one should look at the everyday object as a piece of art.
