This edition is part of and the edition´s series "yours truly (working title)" for which two artist-friends create an edition with each other in mind.
Satoshi Fujiwara (*1984 in Kobe, Japan, based in Berlin) and Irene Fenara (*1990, living and working in Milano) created a diptych out of two photographies. Although very different, both works were created synchronously, at the same time, but in different places. More particularly on the date of 1st of May, which felt significant to both artists. The one by Satoshi Fujiwara (on the right) is captured by a bodycam, he wore that day at a demonstration in Berlin. And the image by Irene Fenara (on the left) is captured by a surveillance camera.
The tension between caring and surveillance, in interpersonal but also state affairs, is inscribed in this collaborative work.
