This edition is part of and the edition´s series "yours truly (working title)" for which two artist-friends create an edition with each other in mind. The corresponding edition can be seen on the second image.
Stephanie Stein (*1972 in Kiel, living and working in Berlin) got inspired by the country of origin of her artist-friend Yorgos Stamkopoulos: Greece, the birthplace of philosophy and democracy - both topics the artist has a deep interest in. Her work shows an egg, which fills the complete print and has written “Psyche” (engl. Soul) on top - minimalistic, but with references to Marcel Broodthaers, as well as to the unsolvable “chicken-and-egg”-situations, it prompts to many questions.
